Porto, Portugal - workshop within the project TOP + Training Older Persons - Pioneer Model Usable for Older Adult Trainers
The European Commission�asserts that�workers aged 45 +�more rarely take part in lifelong learning in Europe,�which is a�loss of productive economic potential;�Therefore a change towards more attractive and flexible forms of training is necessary. Trainer and consultants�have to�continuously develop their skills for offering attractive trainings for adults.
Mrs. Simona Hristova, manager of international projects of EMC, participated in one training - the�project is called TOP + - organized by the Portuguese partner "Complexo IntraCooperativo da Cooperativa dos Pedreiros" (Portugal), which was held from 30th October to 03rd November 2009 in Porto, Portugal - http://www.trainingolderpeople.eu
Experts from 8 organizations were invited to test the pilot model which was developed�within the project. The experts are members of following organizations: Swedish Telepedagogic Knowledge Centre�(Sweden), NHN-NET Consulting (Greece), AVANTIS (Slovenia), Tallinn University of Technology (Estonia), LAPPIA (Finland), University of Technology (Netherlands), Deep Vision Consulting Ltd (UK) and European Management Centre (Bulgaria).
